SuloBase is live

This is a soft launch. Here’s what’s working today, for the Founding Cohort first.

When we last wrote, we’d just registered with the Data Protection Commissioner. Since then, SuloBase has gone live. Not every feature we’ve planned is here yet, but the core is working, and we wanted you in before we open it up more widely.

01 · Now live

Your backend, running in Lusaka

Every project on SuloBase gets its own Postgres database, sign-in, file storage, realtime and an instant API, running on our server in Lusaka. Tools built for Supabase work on it unchanged.

• Business, K500 a month. 20 GB database, 50 GB file storage, 80,000 monthly users. Daily backups kept 180 days.
• Scale, K1,000 a month. New. 30 GB database, 75 GB file storage, 200,000 monthly users. Daily backups kept a year.
• Enterprise, from K2,500 a month. Limits and terms agreed with you.

Pay by Airtel Money, MTN MoMo or Zamtel Kwacha. No dollar card needed.

02 · Getting started

Pay as you create

Go to dashboard.sulobase.com, choose a plan and approve the mobile money prompt. Your project is running in about a minute. A declined payment charges nothing and creates nothing.

Not happy in the first 30 days? Write to support@sulobase.com and we’ll refund your first payment in full.

Prefer us to set it up for you? Write to us. We create the project on your account, and you pay from your dashboard to switch it on.

03 · For builders

Connect your AI tools

Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Claude Desktop can connect to your project through MCP, read-only by default. You also get a direct Postgres password, for connecting with any tool you already use.

04 · Everything included

GraphQL, realtime, and the rest

GraphQL, signed links, image resizing and realtime are included on every plan, not an add-on. Each project is isolated from every other project on the server, and every change we ship goes through automated security checks before it reaches you, including October’s Node.js patch.

05 · For agencies

The agency programme opens 6 November

If you build apps for clients, join from 6 November: 10% of each client’s plan, every month they stay. More details next week.
